What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?
Got me into rock music properly and led me to discover numerous other bands… many of which were shown to me by my cousin’s husband who seemed rather delighted that a thirteen-year-old (my age at the time) listened to them and not to the very mainstream portion of mainstream, if that makes sense.

When did you first get into 2?
I’m proud to say quite early… my parents often listened to them and when my best friend declared her love for Ringo Star, I felt compelled to check them out. We kept singing songs from the album Rubber Soul whenever I was over at her house (I seem to remember “Drive My Car” and “Norwegian Wood” belonging to our favourites). The epic thing was that we were only about nine or ten years old at the time- shortly afterwards, I bought a copy of Magical Mystery Tour and fell in love with Strawberry Fields Forever, which I’m STILL obsessed with.
How did you get into 3?
I heard Kids a few times but didn’t properly get into them until my friend showed me Electric Feel… then I bought the album and adored it
What is your favorite song by 4?
On Melancholy Hill, Feel Good Inc., El Manana… on a less popular level, Highway (Under Construction) and Stop The Dams… and definitely songs stemming from the collaboration with Little Dragon. Revolving Doors is good too- FEH I CAN’T DECIDE

What is a good memory concerning 10?
At our school fashion show (an art project that uses a different theme or material every year) that was inspired by the clothing worn by music icons, I dressed up in shiny leggings, made a guitar out of cardboard and plastic, constructed a hat based on Slash’s (it was huge and decorated with CDs) and walked to her cover of I Love Rock And Roll. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN
